Personal background

Unni is originally from Tromsø –Northern-Norway. Growing up she was engaged in the local music scene. She played several instruments, teaching younger musicians, and was the concertmaster of Tromsø Youth Orchestra in the late 80's.
After living in Tromsø, Narvik, Trondheim and Rome (Italy), she moved to Oslo in 1995, where she started her career in the consulting industry.
In 2000, Unni was struck by serious illness, and life took a new turn. She therefore has a deep personal experience with all the methods she uses, and have even seen how the various approaches are helping to create healing on all levels.
Read about Unnis own story:
"In 2000 I was struck by serious illness. I got M.E. and cancer. For long periods of time I could hardly walk or talk. This changed my life totally. I explored many methods and met many wonderful people on my road to recovery again (including qi gong, acupuncture, psychosynthesis, and Reiki). All these have in different way contributed towards healing.
In 2003 I came in contact with Biodanza®. I knew right away that this was a good tool for overall, holistic health. I decided therefore to dance as much as possible to see what it did to me. In 3.5 years I danced regularly include in Amsterdam. Each time I got more and more energy, and I felt inner warmth grow inside me. The warmth felt very integrated with everything I am, and with the environment around me. Qualities such as strength, robustness, sensitivity, peace, harmony, relaxed, happy, presence and confidence became stronger and stronger in me. In short, I experienced life around me and myself as intensely alive!
One of the strengths of Biodanza® is the way we balance activity and vitality with relaxation, surrender and sensitivity. The endocrine system is affected positively (the hormones calming us down and bring a feeling of well-being is activated). In addition, Biodanza® is not just something you do alone, but you also relates in a loving way with the other group participants, which gives much more energy and meaning than ignoring the potential for human contact.
The best medicine for mankind is other humans and nature. All we need to allow ourselves to open up for it! "
